Classical piano trio I composed in late 2025. It owes a lot to the french chamber compositions of the early 20th century, as well as Keith Jarrett, Benjamin Britten, and a trip to the strange mossy rainforests of northwest Washington state, filled with abandoned homesteads, Sasquatch effigies, a town dedicated to Twilight, and, even though it was the dry season, nonstop rain.
